PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Shadow installation positions shadow as the primary medium. Fine threads define layered circular frames that register both natural and artificial light, casting shifting lines and soft gradients across the wall. As light conditions change, shadows stretch, overlap, and recompose, transforming the surface into a slow-moving drawing where absence becomes a form of presence. Conceived as two halves of a single work, the installations exist in continuous dialogue, light defines shadow, shadow reflects light, and both transform over time. Rather than treating shadow as a residual effect, the project frames it as an active spatial element, completing a quiet yet dynamic exchange between material, light, and perception.
